A 10-bedroom compound house in the Ashanti Region’s Dwase-Praso neighborhood was destroyed by fire.
According to reports, the event happened early on Saturday.
Since the residents couldn’t save anything, the fire destroyed thousands of cedis’ worth of stuff.
Even though there were no reported deaths, it took firemen many hours to put out the fire.
Anthony K. Barnes, an officer at the Konongo fire station, revealed to Adom News that the fire began in one room of the house and swiftly spread to other areas.
But it’s not yet clear what caused it.
