The Ghanaian youngster after coming on in the 64th minute scored a stoppage time goal for AS Roma. The youngster’s celebrations were cut off as the referee disallowed the goal.
Afena-Gyan was booked his second yellow card over handball in the build up to the goal. He picked up his first yellow card four minutes after coming on.
Mourinho escorted Afena-Gyan down the tunnel though he was not happy about the referee’s decision.
Mourinho in a post match reaction said; “I prefer not to speak about the referee. In my opinion he did okay. I did not see either of the two incidents that led him to book Felix and I would rather not say anything.”
