Arise Ghana Demonstration which started peacefully has turned to be a clash between the police and the demonstrators.
According the conveners, the police breached their earlier agreement. They mentioned that the police prevented them from using the agreed upon route.
This has led to high tension between the police service and the demonstrators; which has led to the police shooting tear gas to disperse the crowds.
The demonstrators responded by throwing stones, and other items at the police. Some police personnel have sustained various levels of injuries.

The Ghana police made a couple of arrests from the side of the demonstrators.
