Sean Sarfo-Antwi and Benjamin Azamati are now trending on social media.
This came following the pair’s electrifying displays during the 100-meter heat at the currently taking place Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
First, after a rough start to the men’s race, Ghanaian 100-meter record holder Azamati won Heat 7.
With a winning time of 10.19 seconds, the sprinter advanced to the 100m semifinals.
Sean Sarfo-Antwi also qualified for the semifinals after finishing 10.33 in Heat 10.
He came in 4th place, trailing Stephan Charles, Emanuel Archibald, and Jerod Elcock, but he still made it through to the next round.
Wednesday, August 3 is the scheduled day for the semifinals.
