The Ghana National team (the Black Stars) is currently without a team coach after the appointment of CK Akonnor was terminated by the GFA.
Akonnor was dismissed after the black stars failed to beat the South African national team in the ongoing World Cup qualifiers.
He was appointed the Black Stars coach in January 2019 as a replacement for Kwesi Appiah.
As the Black Stars coach Akonnor played 10 matches, winning four, losing four and drawing two. This performance did not sit well with the GFA hence his dismissal.
