The Ghana Immigration Service has released a statement cautioning candidates who have successfully gone through the aptitude test stage about fraudsters.
According the service, they are yet to release list of qualified applicants and schedules for the next stage.
Therefore, applicants should ignore any messages they are receiving.
“Applicants are therefore to ignore any message directing them to report to the Immigration Service Academy and Training School to begin training, including reports that the service is issuing admission letters or conducting medical examination.” the press release stated.
The applicants were also cautioned to stay away from social media fraudsters asking them to pay sums of monies for special protocols.
“They should be mindful of fraudsters on social media directing them to pay various sums of monies for special protocol placement into the GIS, and report all such persons to the Police.”
The GIS assured the public that the recruitment process is fair and transparent, giving equal opportunity to all applicants.
Also, applicants are entreated to report such fraudsters to the Police.
