Six people have been detained by the Ghana Police Service (GPS) in the Ashanti Region on suspicion of being involved in a land and chieftaincy dispute in Afrancho, close to Atwima Kwanwoma.
One individual passed away as a result of the violence on Sunday.
The police said that two factions clashed after meeting on private property.
