Mike Dean set to hang his card and whistle

The presence of Mike Dean in the English Premier League will be forever missed, from him celebrating  Tottenham Hotspur goal to the number of penalties he awarded and the fact that people say he was anti Manchester united and also pro Manchester united at sometimes. Plus the fact that he is responsible for 7% of all the red cards in the history of the game ( yes he is a no nonsense man)

MIKE DEAN

Mike Dean was born on the 2nd June 1968, he is a professional football referee who officiates primarily in the Premier League. He is based in Heswall, Wirral, and is a member of the Cheshire County Football Association

Some iconic moments with Mike Dean are: He celebrating a goal on the pitch has he was officiating the game, He hiding the ball from Sergio Aguero, After Sergio Aguero had bagged a hat-trick in a Premier League clash against Chelsea in 2019

In 2015, Dean was in charge of a Premier League match between Tottenham and Aston Villa at White Hart Lane. Spurs were in the ascendency as Mousa Dembele made his way into the box, while contending with an overzealous Ciaran Clark apparently attempting to rip his right arm from its socket.

Dean played the advantage and was vindicated as Dembele found the back of the net. And the referee wheeled off with both arms in the air as if he was celebrating the goal, before he raced back to the halfway line as he vigorously pointed his finger at the centre circle.
