Ofori Amponsah’s management team is upset with singer Nanky for reportedly sampling one of the artiste’s songs.
Nanky has sampled bits of ‘Koforidua Flowers,’ according to an unnamed member of the crew who was clearly furious while on a call, as captured in a viral video.
He stated that he is considering hiring a team to file a formal copyright infringement lawsuit against him.
Ofori Amponsah and the late Kofi B collaborated on the song, which was released in 2007. It was included in Kofi B’s album ‘The Return of Kofi B.’
Nanky wants to rely on Ofori Amponsah’s songs and influence to build a hit for himself, a team member complained to another.
He couldn’t comprehend why an artist would sample someone’s work without getting permission or respecting copyrights.
