The much anticipated address from the president is finally here. As part of measures toward easing the restrictions, The president of the republic of Ghana has asked all final year students to resume to school this June. The president started by saying “with effect from Friday, 5th June, we will begin stage one of the process of easing restrictions”.

The president was very clear on the measures that need to be taken before schools resume. He indicated that the Ministry of Education and the heads of Public and private education institutions should ensure that schools are fumigated and disinfected before the resumption of activities.
The President also directed the various religious groups, i.e churches and mosques to commence services with 25% attendance with a maximum number of not more than 100 congregants. He added that, all churches and mosques should observe a mandatory one metre rule for social distancing between congregants.
