In the Samaritan movie’s first trailer, action movie icon and celebrity Sylvester Stallone transforms into a superhero.
The film, which was made available via the official Prime Video YouTube account, introduces Stallone as an ancient, long-thought-dead superhero who is sought out by a young lad who is perplexed as to why the Samaritan-styled hero stepped away from his immense power and responsibilities.

Samaritan, directed by Julius Avery of Overlord and produced by Sylvester Stallone and Braden Aftergood from a screenplay by Bragi F. Schut, stars Javon Walton as Sam Cleary, a young boy who seeks out a legendary superhero who was believed to have perished years ago after a titanic battle with his archenemy.
Sam learns that the hero has been hiding out as Joe Smith, a garbage guy, and tries to convince him to rejoin the fight and save the world. While all of this is going on, Joe is the target of a notorious gang.
