At Sefwi Bekwai in the Western North Region, a headless woman’s body thought to be in her thirties was found.
The deceased was discovered resting against an unfinished building, completely dressed in black pants and a pink strapless top.
Speaking about the event, Assemblyman Martin Darko of the Old Clinic electoral district told Augustine Boah of Adom News that some builders hired to repair the building’s POP ceiling discovered the corpse.
He explained that, one of the six ceiling experts excused himself and went into the bush to attend to his need for the bathroom when he saw the gruesome sight,
They investigated and found the headless body far from the incomplete room they think she was slain in before being carried into the bushes.
After reporting the problem to Sefwi Bekwai Police Command personnel, the body was eventually retrieved.
Additionally, Nana Kwabena Ennin, the Akyeamehene of the Sefwi Traditional Area, said that it had been a long time since such an incident had been reported and expressed dismay that history was repeating again.
He charged the Police to make greater efforts to find the offenders and prosecute them.
