Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. know in showbiz as Shatta Wale is one of the musicians in Ghana who says things as they are. Shatta Wale is known for telling the hard truth, and this has made a lot of the youth fall in love with is act. Shatta Wale has released a number of albums that have done well internationally and locally (after the storm, Reign, wonder boy etc). The Shatta Movement President is also known for reaching out to his fans and helping them either financially or in kind.
The ‘Borjor’ hit maker disclosed on United Showbiz, the reasons why he does not feature female musicians. United Showbiz is a sensational show aired on UTV, a Ghanaian based television station. The show is hosted by the forever young looking Empress Nana Ama McBrown. Shatta Wale said, female musicians feature him because they think he has some power to push their tracks. The ‘Dancehall King’ hit maker added, he believes the female musicians do not understand him and the business he is doing.
Shatta Wale also mentioned, he does not feature female musicians often because of the kind of songs he does. He said, he doesn’t compose the love kind of songs, rather he composes inspirational songs, motivation songs an so on. He however added that, he has plans to feature some female musicians in the future.
