The ‘I go dance‘ hit-maker of the gospel music industry Philipa Baafi went missing from the industry for sometime now. The question on the lips of gospel fans,most especially her fans has been “where is Philipa?” Well, according to the gospel musician on a one on one interview with Maame Animwaa the host of NX at Ghone, the sensational musician disclosed that she went back to school. The ‘Megye me din’ hit-maker said that it had always been her dream to be a doctor and to actualize that dream is to get back to school.
This big step or decision was made possible through the dedicated efforts of her husband. According to her, Mr Baafi mounted pressure on her to get back to her dream, since she made it known to him even before marriage. When asked how she is managing her career, home management and academics; she gave all the glory to her husband who has been her backbone, has been very supportive, helpful, in those aspects. For a moment she could not find words to describe how helpful her husband has been. Philipa Baafi has completed an occupational therapy course and currently studying Physician Assistant(PA) in an undisclosed school.
She added, age is just a number and everyone irrespective of your age can go (back) to school. The Gospel queen is back promoting her new single “IT IS WELL” awaiting an album. When asked whether she thinks she is the queen of gospel music, she humbly asked the host what she thinks, without passing judgement herself.
