TWO HEARTS OF OAK PLAYERS NAMED IN BLACK STARS 2022 WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS SQUAD.

Black Stars Coach C.K Akonnor has named his squared for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa.. Among the list are two Hearts of Oak players who contributed heavily to the success of their club this season.

Goalkeeper Richard Attah and Hearts forward, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh are the two players called up to join the national team.

Their call up was due to their outstanding performances in the just ended Ghana Premier League season.

Hearts of Oak won the Premier League and the MTN FA cup after so many years of missing out in the jubilations.

The man who guided the team to its first Premier League glory after two decades of missing out is Samuel Boadu. Though Samuel Boadu did not start the season with Hearts of Oak, he turned things around after joining the club.

The Black Stars are schedule to face Ethiopia on the 3rd of September at Cape Coast and then travel to face South Africa at Johannesburg on 6th September, 2021.

Accra Hearts of Oak have congratulated their players for their call up to the national team.
