Social media went haywire when Akuapem Poloo posted a picture of herself completely naked with her son. She sent the picture out celebrating her son’s birthday which was not received well by social media users.
Akuapem Poloo has since received a lot of backlash from a lot of people across all social media networks. Some people accused her of exposing her minor son to nudity, others say the picture is uncalled for.

Akuapem Poloo has cleared the air on the issue by saying that since she is an artist, she was trying to send a message through the picture she posted earlier. She said the message goes to all manner of persons who abandon their mothers in time of difficulty.
She emphasized that she didn’t have any bad intention posting the picture but just to send a message. She however, apologized after explaining her intention for uploading the picture.
